Imagine ministering in the beautiful rolling Carpathian hills of Romania, a country once ruled for forty years by a ruthless Communist dictator. Imagine learning the Romanian language while your Eastern European classmates (from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia, Albania, to name a few places) learn English so you could minister together in evangelistic companies. Imagine gaining the skills of a health evangelist at the International Medical Missionary Training School.
Picture yourself organizing health expos, conducting weekend seminars, and engaging in efforts calculated to break down barriers and win people’s confidence. All this leading up to an exciting evangelistic series, organized and executed by your own evangelistic team. Choose either a one or two year mission that will change your life forever. We invite you to pray about training and serving in Romania.
Note: As it relates to other Mission Extreme opportunities, the Romanian experience is unique in that the package of training and service are generally combined. Total price for one year in Romania is $4,900. See "Get Started" page for pricing if you only want to only train or serve in Romania.
For your first six months you will be learning the Romanian language, the culture of it’s people and working part-time in the missionary outpost. Your service may be needed in any number of areas, including the health center, garden, kitchen or even repairing an institute vehicle. On Sunday afternoon all interests turn to evangelistic activities. Than, for the next six months you will study numerous medical and spiritual subjects (in English).
